Lado Sakvarelidze

Lado graduated from the Caucasus School of business in Tbilisi. He then joined TbiluniversalBank at the international borrowing unit and was involved in a number of major acquisitions in the financial services industry. In 2005, he moved to JSC Bank and shortly after became the head of the finance department. In 2006, he was appointed as head of the international lending, treasury and equity supervision (supervising equity subsidiaries of Bank Republic, including the insurance company & the real estate company).
He acted as co-head on the 60% acquisition of JSC Bank by SocGen. He hosted the dataroom and later was part of the team finalizing the deal.
After the acquisition Lado continued in his role as Head of the finance department until his departure in May 2008.
Before joining Talitha Lado founded prime finance LLC , a leading corporate finance boutique in the Eurasia region and has been involved in a number of landmark deals in the region in that capacity.
He is fluent in English, Russian and Georgian.
